Vice Chancellor for Research and Graduate Dean: John A. Koropchak

The primary concerns of the Graduate School are graduate instruction and research. The SIUC Graduate School offers master's degrees in over 60 programs and the doctoral degree in over 30 programs. Within the colleges and schools are departments whose distinguished faculty offer inspired teaching, conduct innovative research, and facilitate student services from admission to placement.

The Office of the Vice Chancellor for Research (OVCR) is the Administrative unit. The offices within the Graduate School include the Admissions Office, Records-Registration Office, Financial Assistance Office, and the Center for Graduate Teaching Excellence (CGTE). The Office of Sponsored Projects Administration (OSPA) coordinates the University's research activities.
